Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is hypnosis?Hypnosis dates back to as early as 1000 B.C. and is a safe and comfortable process which can produce deep relaxation for the body. The mind experiences increased awareness and focus allowing the subconscious mind to respond to suggestion. It is in the subconscious mind where desired, permanent, positive changes for personal growth can be achieved, bypassing the temporary strength of "will power" in the conscious mind. Will I reveal all or any of my secrets? No. Hypnosis is a heightened state of awareness. You and only you have the power to tell or guard your inner thoughts and feelings. Remember, hypnosis cannot make you do anything you don't want to do. What if I don't wake up?That will never happen. Contrary to popular belief, when you participate in self-hypnosis, you are not asleep. You might be enjoying the experience so much that you don't want to come back to your ordinary state of consciousness when instructed to do so. The choice is yours and if that happens, you will in every case ...
